From personal experience, I know what it feels like to be stranded with a vehicle and reliant on assistance.
The weather was bad and the promised help did not arrive. Minutes turned into a long, uncertain wait.
At that moment, one thought took shape: no one should be left alone in such a situation, waiting in vain for help.
This experience inspired the idea of creating a towing service of our own. What began as a solution to a specific problem developed over time into PV Autotransporte.
Today, we combine immediate assistance and towing with planned vehicle transport. Our commitment remains the same: to be available, listen carefully and organise the right solution.

What information is required for an initial quotation?+
Vehicle type, unladen weight, roadworthiness or ability to roll, exact collection and delivery addresses, and preferred date. The vehicle registration document is not initially required.
How quickly can a vehicle be collected, and how early should I enquire?+
The actual arrival time depends on location, traffic and current assignments. Enquiries for planned transport should be made as early as possible; short-notice enquiries are assessed individually based on route, vehicle, date and current availability. You will receive an up-to-date estimate by phone.
Do you transport vehicles without a valid roadworthiness inspection (TÜV) or damaged vehicles?+
Vehicles without a valid roadworthiness inspection (TÜV), as well as immobile and limited-mobility vehicles, are transported after a technical assessment. We do not accept vehicles with severely deformed axles or damage requiring crane loading.
Do you operate throughout Germany and Europe?+
Yes. Our focus is Munich; planned transport is assessed throughout Germany and Europe, including Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
What is included in the quotation?+
The quotation transparently states the total price applicable to the customer and the services included. Tolls, fuel, the agreed insurance and any necessary overnight stays are included; further costs arise only if they are expressly agreed in advance.
How is my vehicle insured during transport?+
The specific scope of insurance is determined for each assignment and stated in the quotation or order documents.
Will I receive an invoice?+
Yes. A proper invoice is issued for the assignment. Credit-card payment and payment on account are available by arrangement.
How is the vehicle's condition documented?+
The condition is documented at collection and handover. The respective handover records are signed by both parties.
Can another person hand over or receive the vehicle?+
Yes. By prior arrangement, dealers, workshops or authorised persons can, for example, handle the handover.
May personal belongings remain in the vehicle?+
This must be agreed in advance. Items must be stored securely; whether they may remain in the vehicle depends on the assignment and insurance conditions.
How does payment work?+
For high-value vehicles, payment is generally 50 per cent in advance and 50 per cent at handover. The specific arrangement is stated in the individual quotation.
Do you transport luxury and sports cars?+
Yes. Protection requirements and handover arrangements are coordinated for the specific vehicle, together with the most suitable open or enclosed transport solution.
When is open or enclosed transport appropriate?+
Open transport is suitable for many standard assignments. Enclosed transport may be appropriate for particularly valuable or rare vehicles, or for vehicles requiring additional protection.
Do you also transport electric and hybrid vehicles?+
Yes, following a technical assessment. State of charge, ability to roll, vehicle mode and any special manufacturer requirements are coordinated before loading.
Do you work for dealerships and businesses?+
Yes. PV works with dealerships, workshops, leasing companies, fleet operators and other businesses.
Who handles customs formalities?+
For transport to countries requiring customs clearance, the customer generally handles the formalities.
